About Brian Moriarty:
Brian was born and raised in Holyoke, where he served on the Holyoke School Committee. Brian also served on the Holyoke St Patrick’s Day Parade committee for 25 years, serving as president in 2008. He was member of the Holyoke Lodge of Elks for 25 years and served on numerous other volunteer organizations in the city. Brian and his family settled in Hatfield in 1999, where he is a 17-year member of the Hatfield School Committee and a 4 year member of the Hatfield Board of Selectman, and like Holyoke, has served on numerous volunteer organizations through the years. He received the Smith Academy Homecoming Award in 2013 for all of his efforts on behalf of the Hatfield School District and was the recipient of the state-wide Massachusetts Association of School Committees “LIFETIME ACHEIVEMENT AWARD” in 2015.
Brian is retired employee from Verizon Communications, after a 28-year management career, where his position focused mostly in sales and public relations with some of the
ortheast’s largest telephone and data users. Universities, financial institutions and municipalities were the majority of his customer-base. Brian and his wife Lynette, a physical therapist, have 2 grown daughters, Meaghan and Emily. Meaghan graduated from Smith Academy and Syracuse University and is a computer software engineer in Waltham. Emily graduated from the University of Massachusetts and is an R.N. at the Holyoke Soldiers home. Brian is also a pianist and performs throughout the area when time allows.
Brian’s background with business and his familiarity with western Massachusetts will serve his clients well in satisfying their needs, whether selling their home or looking to purchase a new one.
