Potential Sellers: Pricing homes to sell in a reasonable time period is her strength. With an appraisal background, you can be assured that your home will be priced appropriately to current market conditions. Kathy will work hard to market your property and find you a qualified buyer.
Buyers: Her appraisal background will benefit you as well. When you choose to work with Kathy as your exclusive Buyer’s Broker, you can be assured that you won’t pay too much for the home of your dreams. She will work tirelessly to find you the property that best suits your needs. As a seasoned landlord and real estate investor, her knowledge will guide you through the process, as a novice or long time property investor.
Appraisals: People need real estate appraisals for a variety of reasons, refinancing a mortgage, settling an estate or divorce, determining market value for gifting purposes or just curious of the current market value. PMI, also known as Private Mortgage Insurance, is charged by your lender on any mortgage that is less than 80% of the value of the property. This charge can be eliminated by submitting a current appraisal of your home that demonstrates that you have more than 20% equity in the property. This can save you thousands in the long run.
I have been doing real estate appraisals since 1985, having earned the SRA (Senior Residential Appraiser) designation of the Appraisal Institute in 1989. I served as president of the Western Massachusetts Appraisal Institute from 1995 to 1996. I would be happy to help you.
